    Unless there's been a judgement already made in your case, chances are practically zero that a lender will let you borrow against money that has not yet been awarded.

    Just because you filed a law suit does not mean you will win anything. Sometimes people file lawsuits and are awarded nothing.

    If you have filed a lawsuit…that means you probably have an attorney. In which case, you need to discuss your situation with your attorney and see what he/she advises. You will be paying your attorney a very large part of any settlement/award you get. Therefore, let your attorney earn his/her money. Ask your attorney.
